Susanna Ciotti

Susanna Ciotti has a background in education, facilitation, and classical studies. Before joining Where Are Your Keys?, she was a middle and high school Latin teacher in Brooklyn, NY and was an active leader of the local peer-facilitated professional development community for educators. A supporter of the “living Latin” movement, Susanna has participated in many spoken Latin immersion intensives and focused on bringing comprehensible input teaching strategies into her classes. As a member of the WAYK team since 2014, she has been involved full-time with language revitalization projects in the US and Canada. She works with learners and teachers of Indigenous languages to build language immersion skills and develop lessons and curriculum for classrooms and community events.
